FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • My photography studio is located in Port Perry, Ontario, in Durham Region. I photograph dogs and their people both in studio and on location throughout Port Perry, Uxbridge, Whitby, Oshawa and the surrounding Durham Region.

    I’m also available for sessions in Toronto and the GTA, with an additional travel fee for locations farther from the studio.

  • CONSULTATION / CREATIVE DESIGN AND PLANNING

    We will talk about why you want this experience and portraits. I’ll want to find out what you would like to achieve on the day of your session, and if you have any reservations, worries. We will also discuss what you should wear and any decor or style options. I will also want to have an idea of how you would like to display your artwork in your home afterward.

    PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

    I will customize a session that is unique to you. The session will take place at a location of your choice or based on my recommendations. The session will last from 60 – 90 minutes and is fully customized to your needs and wants.

    IMAGE REVEAL & PRODUCT ORDERING

    Once I have processed your images, you will be invited to a in-person reveal session (or Zoom if distance is an issue). With my guidance, this will be the time where you will make your image selection and what printed options you prefer.

    Once you have selected your favourite images and which product works best for you, I will completed all the required editing, and order the product from my amazing printer located in Italy. You will receive your art within 3-4 weeks from your ordering sessions

    YOUR SESSION FEE

    Your session become a credit towards the package you will order. Our packages start at $800 for 6 digitals or $1,200 for 10 matted prints and their digitals.

  • When you order any printed products (prints of all sizes, canvas wall art, books, etc) you receive the correspondent digital files that you can share with family and friends. We also offer digital packages if you do not desire products.

  • For dogs, I can work with any level of training.

    It is helpful to have a pet that knows how to sit or stand still while I move around them to set up a shot, and while their handler is several feet away. (But this is not a requirement!)

    Even if your pup won’t hold a stay, I can still find ways to create beautiful images for you. I have a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to managing “misbehaviour”.

    …and the same applies for your children. There is always to get the shot, including having a lot of patience!

  • I offer a variety of beautiful options, in addition to digital images: wall art, albums and prints.

  • When we schedule a sunrise or sunset session, I normally try to schedule a rain date as well. I keep close tabs on the weather reports as our chosen date draws closer and will contact you if it looks like we may need to postpone our session to the rain date. If it is also raining on our rain date, we will reschedule to another mutually convenient date.

    In the case of illness or accident, we will work together to find a mutually convenient date to reschedule.
